What People are Saying
about Tom Dooley- ADHD Coach

“You are the best, my life would not be on a great path, without you helping with course correction along the way. Thank you." Dan
"For more than a year of my life, Tom was there to listen and hold me to account. In that time I was able to do the "impossible": publish a book and launch (and continue) a podcast. It wasn't all Tom, of course: I had inner drive, intelligence & skill. But you see, that's exactly it: Tom didn't accomplish things for me; instead, he was an anchor for me to gain traction with everything I already had within myself.
But Tom did give me one thing I'd never had before: training for enhancing my calm in hyper-ADD moments. I suspect these moments will never stop coming: the sudden inundation of 100 simultaneously important things I "must" remember and do ("or all will be lost!").
Before, this would lead to weekly bouts of anxiety and micro-depression. Now, I am regularly amazed at how able I am to A) notice the all or nothing panic, and B) to ride that wave into calmer waters instead of getting crushed by it.
Before Tom, when executive-function panic swept in, I'd often be dashed to pieces on the rocks. Not any more.
Sometimes I still get tumbled, but now I can tell when I'm going under, and have the presence of mind to go with the flow, usually ending up with nothing worse than some saltwater up my nose."
Judah S.

"Tom, in a nutshell, helps me with awareness. What I am thinking about and is that serving me. I have picked up many tools regarding prioritizing, time management, and scheduling. These are constant areas of up keep for people with ADHD. Also, we discuss false belief systems that don't serve me, and how to eliminate, work around, or manage them."

"Over the last twenty years I have had the opportunity to coach and train hundreds of ADD coaches. One of the most important traits and skills that an excellent ADD coach must possess is the ability to create a safe environment that encourages trust and partnership. Tom Dooley has developed a coaching presence that generates a feeling of serenity and calm, which immediately creates a commanding sense of confidence. He does this in a way that creates a dialogue of equanimity. A dialogue that says “Mr. or Mrs. Client we are equals but my sole purpose is to be here right now for the purpose of helping you find what you want”. He does this in a humorous and compassionate way that makes the coaching session fun for both the coach and the client. This is one of the many coaching attributes that are part of Tom’s repertoire of coaching tools.

"Tom’s understanding of the ADHD mindset and his ability to educate is another one of his unique skills. He has developed creative ways of supporting the client in improving their understanding of their own ADHD. Through his use of metaphors, stories and unique explanations of what is really going on, he is able to partner with his client to improve their understanding of the discovery process and move up the ladder of development. In addition to all the skills and wonderful background Tom has experienced, from music, to business, he has formulated a philosophy of life that is refreshing and based on a strong value system that places a huge emphasis on character building. Tom is one great person with tons of character. I highly recommend Tom as an ADD coach because he understands what the five H’s of Having your Heart and Head in Harmony in the Here and now. He has learned to embrace this in his own life and models and coaches his clients brilliantly. If you want to get new levels of awareness and action in your life, I recommend you contact Tom Dooley."

“Tom Dooley helped me to recover from procrastination and negative work habits that had been plaguing me for years. He helped me to address the issues that lay beneath the destructive patterns and to create a new and positive paradigm for creativity. I once thought the old patterns were inseparable from my working life. Today I am more or less completely free of them.”

“Tom is a natural coach.  He is supportive and encouraging, and he approaches coaching with a unique, intuitive ability that gets to the heart of the issue without missing any pieces along the way.  My favorite thing about Tom's coaching is that he builds you up, and backs it up.  He identifies all the great things about you, and remembers them.  He helps you apply those strong qualities to new situations.  Coaching with Tom always leaves me feeling positive and energized!”

"Tom Dooley has been a wonderful part of my support system.
"With Tom I have been able to discuss my problems and verbally work through them with someone who listens, understands and accepts me, as I am, as a whole person.
"With Tom as my coach I have been able to work through some tough times and come out with a better understanding of myself and my ADD.
"I would, without hesitation, recommend Tom Dooley as a coach for any one with ADD.
Tom is a supportive, understanding part of the multi modal system I employ to work with my ADD.
